What type of rod power and action would you use to throw 1/8-1/4 oz. spinner baits on a 6' 6" spinning rod ?

I would use a MH power rod or even a M rod, depending on the size of blades.

I only use spinning rods for all applications.

I think a M would definitely get the job done, being that they are open hooks.  I jus bought myself a 6'6' ML and I plan on throwing some light spinnerbaits, less then 1/4 ounce.

M with fast tip will do fine

Put the spinning rod down for spinnerbaits and start using a 6' or 6' 6" baitcaster in MH. Only my opinion.

Mr. Blair please explain why you would throw 1/8 oz. lures with a med/hvy rod and bait caster.
