I did an early morning trip to the susky. Launched from city island July 4. Had a slow day got a few on trip water and cranks

 

. Since I have been having luck on this stretch I went back again on the 5th. Well the river finally won and I skunked out this year. When the water gets low clear and hot I aways struggle. With no rain in sight I am probably going to be focusing on lakes.

 

i did get to watch the police search for a gun that was thrown into the river when the was issues the night before and had to cancel he fireworks show there.
