Looking for a new rod for my zillion and hope you guys can help me out. I'm looking at 3 different rods and all are gloomis rods but not sure how the recoil guides are with braided line. So can someone tell me how the recoil guides work with braid or can I only use mono. The 3 rods I'm looking at are the BCR853, BCR864, and the MBR843. Also is there a place that can tell me the weight of each rod. Thanks for helping me.

I own this rod and love it so far. In the review, they did not like using braid with it. I have liked using P-Line Floroclear 15lb but I am going to test others including braid to see if anything else works well.

If the Recoil Guides bother you, the MBR843 would be a fine choice.
