For those who have tried it what do ya think?  One thing that interested me was that it is said to be good with braid.  Has anyone tried it with braid?  I would like to have an alternative to tying the palomar with braid because I go through quite a bit of line cutting off the tag end.

I have only tried it on light mono and have had good success so far.

I've used it on fluro but not on braid and it works. I use this knot on both and it works...on both. I too dislike the PK and only use it for a drop-shot hook.
