For those who fish the upper Susky especially from the bank, what are your favorite baits/techniques for this time of year (tail end of summer), and into the fall?

Top water, spinners, jerkbaits are all good choices. As it gets cooler bottom contact baits are bad idea. Pretty much everything will be decent this time of year 

Spinnerbaits as well as Underspins? As it gets colder i’m guessing baitfish/minnow imitators are the safest bet. Better through the football now if I want to get on a craw bite lol

I do not prefer underpins in the river because of how shallow it is. You end up just hitting the blade off bottom and boulders.
