Joshua B
Helloe, I see on these sites that there are the expride models that split in half and the ones that split at the handle? I am looking at getting a 1610M-2 (I think the 2 means it splits in half) casting rod for jerkbaits primarily. Do you think the 1610M-S (solid tip) would work well enough for jerkbaits/wacky worms? I want a rod with a faster tip. I cant seem to find any 1610M rods in stock (I’m pretty clueless lol)
Super User F14A-B Posted September 3 Super User Share Posted September 3 Maybe. I have a Grappler that comes apart at the handle. It’s a saltwater rod.
softwateronly
Personally, I don't like a solid tip for jerkbaits. A crisper tip allows me to get sharper starts and stops which I think makes a jerkbait shine. Solid tips have been good to me for dragging and shaking jighead minnows. scott
Joshua B
Okay thanks. I can’t find any 1610M for sale, only the 1610M-S so I guess it’s a waiting game. I can’t find anywhere that has pre-orders either
