I was on a lake in Tennessee after they had a big let down, water was way low anticipating a big thaw. I found a cove with a huge cliff, maybe 500 hundred feet long that was normally submerged. Took some pics, made mental notes. Came back in the spring, guess I wasn’t the only that saw it, three other boats were there. 
We all caught fish, letting it bounce on bottom until you saw your line going deep where it fell off the cliff. I guess with today’s electronics you’d see that.
