ok first i must say im a shimano guy ..... i still have to say this zillion got my attention ..... i  played with one at the local sports mans .... its sweet ,, anyguys here that may have one sound off ... i wanna hear from some people that may own one ....  :-/

I have one.  Very nice reel but for some reason I like my Curado better.  The zillion is smooth and cast very good.  I guess I'm just use to my Curado. I/m sure as I use the Zillion more I will cahnge my opinion.  Buy it and if you dont like it then I'll swap my new Phleuger Supreme for it.

I was always a Shimano guy also, I have a Calais, which is probably the smoothest and best baitcaster I've ever used, but I have to tell ya I saw the Zillion at Cabela's last year and bought the 7:1 red model, I liked it so much I bought the gold 6:3 model, if you buy one you won't be disapointed

I used the 7:1 model for rattlebaits and crankbaits, excellent

hey thanks for the info .... i plan on buyin the faster one .... i want to use it on a 7ft avid med-hev ,,, mainly for jigs .... ;D

I have the zillion 7.1 and love it. There is no way I will give it up.
