I recently received a letter in the mail from a company called Acadia sports and was curious if anyone has ever heard or used these rods. They have a " Special Pricing" deal going on for 39.95 + 8.95 Shipping you can buy one rod and get another free and the shipping stays the same. Sounded like one of them to good to be true deals but I checked there website as well. Any information would be appreciated.

Got it, read it, chunked it.  For me, I just wasn't interested.  I don't think I will ever buy a rod without having it in my hands.  I want to feel the power, action, weight, etc.

So, $49 for two rods delivered...What do you think?

I suspect you can by two "comparable" rods at Wal-Mart, on sale, for half the price.
