Recently picked up a new Dobyns 736CB and Tatula SV 150 combo and took it for its maiden voyage throwing chatterbaits on Guntersville.

 

For those who also have the 736CB, what else do you use it for besides what it says on the rod?  This is my first composite rod so still very much in the adjusting phase.

Congrats @Chris at Tech I'm actually in a very similar boat as I also gone one a little while ago and paired it w/ a Tatula 100 and it's already one of my favorite rigs.

 

This one is actually the 3rd Dobyns crankbait rod I own and I throw a bladed jig a lot, but aside from that I also like it for crankbaits in the 1oz range...in my case a few specific examples would be a 6th Sense Cloud 9 C15 or a Strike King 6XD Elite or a Rapala DT20...you could also probably get away with a Berkley Dredger 25.5 on this one if you wanted to get down a little deeper...

 

But that said I really like this one for 1/2oz Evos and Thundercrickets with a Spunk Shad or a Zako as a trailer.

Anybody throw things like Sebile/Berkley magic swimmers on it?
