Do you think it’s safe to leave rods spooled with flurocarbon or even mono outside in the cold?

You’re probably fine but if it was me I’d change out the line and store rods indoors from now on. Why let something like line possibly ruin a good day on the water

My rods are stored in an overhead rod rack in my barn 24/7 which is unheated year round and I never have a problem with fluro except for a little minor line coil which is easily fixed by stretching it out and putting a little tension on it, much like a fish pulling on the other end. I also have also left my lures tied to the line and never had a problem and I'm 68 years young. JMHO

I bring my expensive combos in the house and leave the cheap ones in the Suburban all winter and early spring. Been doing it for years with no problems.
