I am looking for 1 rod to do a few things. Carolina Rig, Throw heavy baits like swimbaits, slow troll big cranks, and a jig rod. What would be the best specs to meet my needs....looked at a 7'6'' heavy at bass pro that felt pretty good. What length/action would best fit all of the above?

The 7'6" heavy would fit everything there except the cranks. For slow trolling cranks I would use a 7' - 8' Medhevy with a mod tip action.

I have one rod for that purpose: Shimano Clarus CSC66H, it 's an extra fast action rod capable of handling baits up to 1 1/2 ounces, but I would not use it to troll any kind of crankbait.

I have a 7' 6" G-Loomis Flippin stick FS904C. It will cast a bait up to an ounce and will do all else you have listed. I am like RM and don't recomend it for cranking. I throw frogs with it also.

I agree with ReelMech but also like Alpster's choice!  One other consideration is that if you use braided line, you might consider a mod-fast... it'll be a tad easier on the big cranks and will do all the rest just fine.  A good portion of your 7'6" "flippin' sticks" will fit that description.

I use 6'6" - 7' for all that stuff but that's purely a personal preference thing.

As for trolling... you can only use the rods you have so if this rod has to fit the bill for everything just know up front that the "weakness" so to speak is trolling the crankbaits but shoudl do fine in the rest.
