I've been struggling to find something to replace these knobs with. I just picked one of the SEVIIN GSC baitcaster's up about 2 months ago and I've enjoyed the reel for the most part. But I can't get passed the feel of these knobs. They seem very tacky after just 6 trips. I keep my reels very clean so I don't think it is due to neglect. Does anyone have an idea for replacement knobs. I don't know what fits the SEVIIN line up.

You could get some heat shrink that fits.  

That's an interesting suggestion and I'm not knocking it. But I'm looking for a different shaped knob entirely. 

Looked at the reel, and saw the paddle grips.

We'll never know what you have until you pull it apart and measure the knob spindle diameter.  

They come in 4-mm (Shimano and Daiwa) and 5-mm (Doyo, et.al.)  That's the place to begin.  

 

Bad formulation on the grip rubber - I get that.  Different shape - don't get that without knowing what you want.  

I'm a fan of big EVA knobs, and not to scare you with Studio Composite knobs, here's Avail's big A-knob that fits Shimano and Daiwa spindle.  Another favorite is Livre faceted titanium-shell knob. 

 

I never liked Lew's flat paddles, but I did like these Abu EVA replacements for 5-mm spindle that I found at SDS Customs.  

  

They also fit Omega Pro handle, and Abu offers their version of both giant Avail R and Studio Composite knobs that fit 5-mm spindle.    

Once you figure out the spindle diameter, Abu vs. Shimano/Daiwa, ebay is loaded with knob choices.  

The safe bet would be to just buy a complete handle assembly from Amazon or Aliexpress. The "Daiwa" handle size is pretty much the industry standard.

It makes it a little easier for me to find my handle when I'm trying to watch the water on the hook set.

Try this Gomexus handle.  I have used them before and have this exact handle on the way.  I like the long TPE power knobs.

Likewise, I linked the Abu knobs in my prior post, but you can't use those unless you measure your knob spindle is 5 mm.  

 

The biggest, baddest and Lightest are Studio Composite - they're always lighter than the little stock rubber knobs - the EVA is over carbon tube.  

I can find these in both 4-mm and 5-mm but it takes astute Japan shopping.  

The Studio Composites look like something I'd go for. In the mean time I went ahead and ordered a Gomexus handle. I figured I have other reels so if it doesn't fit the GSC I can toss it on to one of those. I need to find a tool to measure the GSC handle spindles. I didn't think that I'd need to. But I guess this is a unique handle. I appreciate everyone for providing some much needed insight. I'll return to this post as soon as I measure the spindles. 

I'm back. So the spindles on the GSC handle measure out to 4mm diameter. I think I'll going hunt down some decent Daiwa knobs. Thanks for the help everyone.
