Why don't you ask the people at your local Bass Pro Shop?  After all, they are the ones who set the policy at their store.  BTW the word you is spelled y-o-u.  To my knowledge, there is no word in the English language that is spelled with "u."

At the local BPS in Lawrenceville, GA they would not allow the discount to be used for a Shimano reel.  Bummer.
