Info on 1994 Bomber 202 Pro

Featured Replies

Hello everyone. Currently looking at purchasing my first bass boat. Came across an older bass boat that seems to be in great shape. It is a 1994 Bomber 202 pro. I can not find any information on the boat. I was hoping you all could help me out. The guy said I could have it for 4k. I have attached a few pictures. My budget is limited, so I know I'll be taking a gamble, but I don't want to get something that ends up being more of a headache than fun. Thoughts, wisdom, and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I'm unsure if this is an option. It was donated to a nonprofit (according to the seller) and is currently at that place. He works for a church (fact checked this) so unsure if he'd lie, right? There is a boat shop down the road that I looked up. Thought about calling to see if I can pay for someone to go out and look at it. Does that ever happen / an option? I'm 6.5 hours away, so driving up and doing all that would be tough

you need to test drive the boat to see if anything is broken and the OB runs good.

The boat looks like it was garaged and well taken of!

The engine needs a compression check and new water pump installed at a minimum.

Budget in new trailer tires, batteries, TM and electronics that you will need.

That Yammy is a good motor.  My wife had one on her boat.

BTW:  Don’t forget to check the lower unit for water in the oil.

The early 90’s Bomber bass boats may have have glassed over wooden transom, 1994 is questionable. Check out the transom closely for any wiggle when flexing the OB side to side or any stress cracks, deal killer!
