I love Simms fishing wear. They must have seen me out on the water. J/K!

Okay. Summertime.  Baking out in the sun, while floating around on a kayak sucks.  I don’t  even get reprieve from the heat, skating across a lake @ 60mph.   It’s hot and just stays hot.  I’ll sometimes pull my iPhone out of my pockets and just go overboard.

two years ago, I bought swimmers tights.  (Don’t go calling them leggings!).  To hide my….err “junk” I wear shorts.  Is it a good look?  Debatable for sure.  But skin cancer isn’t a good look either.    I also lost weight. My swimmers tights are droopy.  Haha.  So I’m shopping and will drop a size or two.   I look like an old lady in black pantyhose haha.

I just saw Simms has a version!   Shorts with built in tights!  Genius!   Should eliminate the escaped butt-crack.  Me vs their version.  Mines cheaper.  Haha.

I like their stuff too but to me it's kind of over priced. I always wait for a sale or something.

I do have shirts, shoes, waders, and jackets from them and my favorite is a shirt that was $120 regular price. I found it for $60. It's a cooling bug-a-way hoodie that they no longer make. This thing is awesome. I wore it in 95 degree weather last week and I stayed comfortable as I could considering the heat.

Best shirt in the category in my opinion.   You looks good, feel comfortable and don’t look like you’re sponsored.   Those tight skin sun shirts are the cycling Lycra of fishing.   Hard pass.
