Welcome aboard!

I have not fished Cabela's rods, but I'm sure some of our members will comment on them shortly. Cabela's  has always been on of my two favorite outdoor stores, BPS being the other. I think you will find most of Cabela's in-house brands to be very high quality, but I don't know the makers of their rods and reels.

I feel Cabela's rods are great rods for the money.  I had recieved a XML as a gift.  It felt great in my hands, light, and sensitive, the XML ti is suppose to be even better.  If you are looking at buying a XML or XML ti I wouldn't hesitate one bit.

welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The XML , XML ti are the way to go .

I love Cabelas XML rods.  I have 7 of them and they are hard to beat.  I held one of the XML Ti, but you can't add the balance weights to them like the XML's do, so I stuck with the XML's.  I used them from Carolina Rigs (XCLC704) to Chatterbaits (XCLC702) to Senkos (XCLC703) to even Drop Shotting (XCLS704) with the Spinning Rod.  I can't say enough about them and when my nephews stepped on the tip of one and broke the ceramic insert out of it, I took it to Cabelas (without a receipt) and they said "Go back and get a new one," and that was it.  Unbelievable customer service.
