☺️hi everyone, I'm back on here again! 😁 I'm leaving the yak and boat home and I'm going to go wade fishing for smallies! It's how I developed my love for these fish decades ago, wading shoes, and over the shoulder tackle bag and off I go to the lower Snake River east of Pine City Minnesota! Plus fish are Muskies, Pike, Walleye, and? Hey, give it a try!

Catching smallies when wading seems so pure.  Here is a 600 yd stretch of the Shenandoah I visit several times a month.  16-18” are not uncommon.

 

I’m back after a long hiatus myself 🖐🏻

I to am a creek wading fanatic. 
Got my PB 17.5” on Crooked Creek two weeks ago, and a 16.75” last week. 

On Sunday I was able to wade fish for the first time in 2025 and managed a pair of 17 inch fish.

 

Wadding for river smallies, is what I cut my bass fishing teeth on. Actually, the first bass I ever caught was a river smallie, been hooked on bass ever since. 
Yep pun intended.
