Red Braided Line

I am going to purchase some red colored braided line for tying hooks on crankbaits. Considering the use, will there be any brands to stay away from? Or does it not matter, just get the cheapest I happen across. I'm looking for 20 pound probably.

Are you adding a stinger to the crankbait?

For the amount you’ll need, I’d just use whatever standard moss green line you already own - anything 20-40# should work fine.  And I can’t imagine any advantage to cheap vs. more expensive line - braid’s not expensive anyway.  But I do plan to use red hooks when I replace some of my own on cranks and topwater.

No. I am replacing the split ring with braided line to make the lure quieter.
