True, Voltaren is an option.

Not for anyone on a blood thinner such as Eliquis.

Move to Florida from October to March this will solve most of your problems with cold hands and feet.  I do wear gloves when running the boat in winter even in Florida!

My fishing season ends way earlier than I would like because of my cold hands.  As a young man, I had hot hands.  I would ski most of the winter in a spring weight glove.  They could be full wet and as long as I kept moving, my hands were fine.  This morning it was mid 50s and cold hands drove me off the pond.

I have heated glove liners I use but they are magnets for hooks and still don't allow me to tie knots, operate clips and the like.

So, let's hear it.  What are your cold hand strategies?  Arthritis strategies?

I am not aware of this.  sorry it affects you and I wish I had answers, but no :(  sounds tough.

Raynauds syndrome can be a double edged sword. Raynauds can coexist with Chilblains and that makes for very painful times in cold and damp conditions. Chilblains is triggered by exposure to cold and damp conditions. When the skin is cold, blood vessels near its surface get narrower. If the skin is then exposed to heat, the blood vessels become wider. If this happens too quickly, blood vessels near the surface of the skin can’t always handle the increased blood flow. Blood can leak into the surrounding tissue, which may cause the swelling and itchiness of chilblains. Certain medications exacerbate both conditions. Both conditions can be very painful.
