Time to go to work and then wait

The snow is gone but the ice is still here and will be for a while. Nonetheless, it’s time to do some much needed re-spooling on some reels.

Smackdown has been a staple in my arsenal for quite a few years now and Tatsu has been my go to flourocarbon for a couple years since I started using it again.

I've got a few used and new reels that need line. Too many choices is not a good thing. I counted the number of spools I have on hand after Glen made a recent post "Get ready for spring." I have 85 spools of line from quite a few companies. 🙄

Majority are not braid but now that I've retired to Florida many reels are going to get braid. Something I didn't use often in PA. In fact all line purchases since moving have been braid. All new orders were X9 except for what's going on BFS spools. Hopefully I didn't make a bad choice.

I’ve had the x9 (10 lb, it was free when I purchased the reel) on my drop shot setup for a couple of years now and have no complaints.
