If you want to consistently find fish no matter the season, understanding migration routes and transition banks is one of the biggest shortcuts in bass fishing. Here's how!

Glenn mentioned scattered boulders. I have a lot of those in my pond and my pal's pond and I always fish them, but rarely catch bass from them. However, in northwestern Ontario, those isolated boulders were fish havens.

Thanks, Glenn, for the shout-out to those of us who fish from canoes with no electronics!

I grew up as a kid fishing out of a Terry boat with zero electronics. And in college, I fished out of an inflatable raft. I bought my first boat when I was in my 30's, and it had a basic deptfhinder and no GPS. I have decades of experience fishing without GPS or depthfinders.

Not everyone has or can afford fancy boats and electronics, so in my videos I try to incorporate the ways I learned how to fish growing up. It's something I bring to the table that most Youtubers can't.

And it's greatly appreciated! I've told you in the past that when I fish, you're in the boat with me...in a way...for I think about all the things you've taught me as I'm fishing.
