Living Rubber Skirts?

Featured Replies

  • Super User

How do living rubber skirt lures do in comparison to the more modern silicon skirts, with regard to pressured fish? So, lets say all the fish at my lake have seen a bunch of jigs, spinnerbaits, and chatterbaits. Would it be worth trying living rubber skirts?

Living rubber has a different pulse and action in the water than silicone skirts. While different materials do help. It really is up to you nail that presentation for what you are trying to mimic with the jig. Tie some up and give it a shot.

If you want to try it just buy a couple of the Cumberland Blauket jigs. They are well made and reasonable.
