Hey guys, I want to buy a mid priced(100-200 for rod+ reel) rod/reel combo and was wanting to get some recommendations.  I'll probably get it from BPS, one is about 15 minutes from my college so its easy to get to.  I don't need anything too heavy duty, just a general all purpose baitcaster.

BPS has the Revo SX/Extreme XPS combo on sale for $200 until 4/14.

I just got a Abu Garcia Revo S yesterday, haven't fished it yet, hopefully I'll be able to tell you more after the weekend, seems nice. they have a combo for it at BPS, Also look at the Citica combo they have there,Those would be my only two choices right now.

I looked at several of the combos at BassPro yesterday and out of the bunch the Revo and Citica combo seem to be the best "bang for the buck". In fact I may go back this weekend and get one or the other for my 14 year old son's first casting outfit. Of the pair the Revo impressed me with it's smoothness but since I'm a Shimano die hard it's hard to say at this point
