My Plan for Tomorrow

So, I threw the tackle box at the bass at my pal's pond yesterday and could find no pattern. I caught a bass here and a bass there with this lure and that, which is what also happened at my pond a few days back. I'm launching again tomorrow morning at my pond and my plan is to turn myself into Forward Facing Sonar. You know how FFS users putt around, looking for bass? Well, I'm going to do the same, but with two rods. Then, if I catch a bass, I'm going to cast to that spot, hoping the bass has buddies. Then I'll go back to trolling if I don't catch another bass. I always troll some when I'm paddling to a new casting spot, but tomorrow, I'm going to cast less and troll more. Even if this fails, I'll still have a great time paddling and enjoying the pond and its inhabitants.

What I've learned the hard way in my locale is that there is no morning bite on any lake within an hour of my house right now. I would normally expect this time of year to be the "get there before dawn" fishing, but it's still the opposite. I haven't been able to buy any kind of steady bite until later in the day. Perhaps it's the odd weather pattern. The late afternoon/evening is very good right now, but I'm still hoping for the morning bite to become the deal by late August or early September. I love a topwater as the sun is coming up.

BG, I would love to fish mid-day or the evening, but it's usually too windy then. However, if were to simply troll, I could do It. Thanks for the info.
