Looking for a good baitcaster under $100...Is there such a thing?...haha  I've fished with spinners forever, and recently got interested in trying one again (broke my 1st one right after I got it 5 years ago) after my former "mishap".  Buddy of mine has a quantum (not sure what model) and loves it...Any help fellow bucketmouth busters???Thanks.

hmm i think there are, you may find what you looking for doing a search on it  in the rods reels and lines section.  Also check out a retailer like amazon that has both good and bad reviews of the products when you decide on a model

Check out the ABU Garcia Ambassaduer 4600 C3 or 5000 C3. They are less than a $100 and are formidable baitcasters. That's my suggestion.

I've heard nothing but good reviews about the revo's...another good one is a shimano citica...you can find them on ebay for $97 i believe.I landed a 21.3 inch carp by accident with it today....lol

An Abu Garcia Ambassadeur will stand the test of time and I haven't heard a bad thing yet about the Revo if you're looking for low profile. The Revo is going to be my next baitcaster purchase BTW.

ive got the white cabelas reel with a nice rod for 80 bucks. it casts a mile. bass pro shops combos are hard to beat. great reel for the money. id go that route for sure

I use an Abu C4. I think it was about $70 at BPS. I really like the feel of it. With a several years of use it has become silky smooth. I'm not an equipment freak but I do demand something of high quality that works reliably. This reel has met my expectations.
