i fish prety cleart water and i was wondering if is should use a beed

Please clarify your question, so far I 've understood .... nothing  :-? , first you entitle your question: bullet or no bullet which I assume means bullet sinker ( or at least that 's how I understand it given the context ), then you tell us that you fish pretty clear water and then you ask if you should use a bead which I assume means glass bead.

Which was it:

1.- should you use a bullet sinker or not because you fish very clear water or

2.- because you fish very clear water you should also use a glass bead along with the bullet sinker or not ?

Actually now I 'm going to ask you, do you really know what 's the function of the glass bead ?

You want to generate a louder clacking sound use the bead, you don 't want to don 't use it.

I haven;t heard of any pros advocating the use of a bead on a texas rig. Thi sis just from my observations of many many hours watching every possible fishing show on tv...but maybe I missed something. I know it is standard to use a bead on a carolina rig, but as far as a texas rig I can;t remember seeing this. As far as making crackling noises as Raul put it, I'm not sure you want that in a texas rig as most people like to peg the sinker in the bait to stop it from moving around. I think if you are looking to pitch or work something that makes a little noise, try a rattlin jig and pig or a tube with a tube rattle in it. Leave the beads for the carolina rig. Thats just my Opinion

Lol Yes, I know how "type" is spelled, that was on purpose... for a reason.  Obviously didn't get the point across though, as seen in your last post.  ;D

I thought the purpose of a bead on a weightless texas rigged bait was to prevent the pick-up of grass on the knot/hook-eye.   I sometimes put one on the line when I'm fishing a toad in scum and it does help a little at keeping muck off the bait.

As always, you should let the fish tell you the answer to this.  But if it was me personally, If the water is very very clear I wouldn't use the bead...but most of the time for the lakes I fish, i'm using a bead.

The bead is to make noise.

If the water is really clear, I don't see why you'd need to make noise to get a fishes attention.

I very rarely use a bead.
