Does Gander Mtn. carry Guide Series CB rods?

Featured Replies

I was trying to find a crankbait rod at Gander Mtn. and couldn't find one.  I asked the guy in the dept. and he said they don't carry rods specifically made for crankbaits.  How strange because BPS has their bionic blades and other CB rods.  I just thought maybe Gander Mtn. would have their line of CB rods as well.

Does your local Gander Mtn. have crankbait rods?

It sucks too because they don't even have an on-line store.

nope i dont believe ours does either but let me tell you, they re a quality rod,,,,,as far as no online store i believetha got boight by cabelas if im not mistaken

online catalog rights were sold in the late 90's and as for crankbat rods yessir they do make them and they area  quality rod they have an advantage series rod that comes in 6'6" med and a 7' MH both moderate action and have a burgandy blank wth fugi components $39.99 then there is the tournament bass series rod that has a crankbait rod they are a light blue blank and run $39.99 I beleive they only come in 7' lengths if your store doesn't have them then have them call the Fredercksburg VA store.

most of their rods are considered "fast" action however fast is a subjective term, if you go through their rods and get a feel for them they are not all that fast. like the guide series tournament for example i would consider it to be mod-fast. not bad for cranks in fact i have been using a 7' med-heavy tournament casting rod for my larger cranks and couln't be more pleased. you could always step down to a med for your average cranks. not to mention their return policy is awsome it is a 2 year, no questions asked, no need for a recipt any gander mountain in the nation return policy. and the tournament is $79.00
