does anyone have any experience with the Berkley Bionix IM7 or the Berkley Lightning IM6 that are available at Wal-Mart.  My 2 year old broke my Shimano Sojourn today and I need a new rod ASAP.

I have a few lightning rods the new ones they aint bad for 34 bucks i prefer the pistol grips

I have a lightning rod, Works good for me I would say its good for the price.

I have a Bionix on my spinning reel.  I think its a great rod for the money.

I use several Lightning Rods,and they are great for the price.I've been using them for 10+ years or more.

I've used the Lightning rod a few times and i would say its great for what your paying for. I also like the fact that its IM6 just like the shimano carbomax. That would be a nice upgrade from your sojourn.
