I love fishing braided line but was wondering if I would get more bites if I added a florocarbon leader.Has anybody tried this?What knot would you use to join the two lines?

I use an 8# on my drop shot and 14# on my jigs.  I use the Stren knot with a dab of superglue on the knot.  I got my butt waxed once using 8/1 braid in clear water with no leader.  I use straight braid on spinnerbaits and buzzbaits.

It works well.  The only problem is that if you are using a baitcaster, the knot from tying the lines together can sometimes get hung up in the the top guide.  What I do is use a short leader 6-9 inches and make sure that the knot is above the top guide.  Then casting is not a problem.
