anyone recommend a balancing kit?

I have a viento on an St Croix Avid rod and the thing is severely unbalanced.  The rod feels like it wants to flip forward out of my hand at all times.  Can someone recommend a good balancing kit please.

How hard are they to install correctly anyways?  The ones I have seen look like they just screw in

    BPS has 2.  One is proprietary for BPS brand rods.  They also have another one that looks like it's just a rubber butt capp that slides on.

    Alternatively, there's metal washers and duct tape :)
