What kinda line you using? I am thinking of putting  30lb power pro or 20lb suffix braid on. Mainly using it for senkos, frogs, maybe some buzzbaits and jigs. I want something strong to get in the weeds and stuff but thin enough to cast nice. Rod is a All Star Coastal select 7' MH F 12-25 ln and 3/8-1oz lure rating. Want to know if braid would fit the bill

20lb Powerpro on one for jigs, my other Stradic has Yo Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft #6 for plastics.

Yes I am gonna get some YZH ultra soft heard nothing but good things about it. Any thing wrong with braid for worms? I figured the sensitivity of it would make it nice for feeling settle bites

8 lb. PLine CXX

8 lb. Stren Original

I've tried several different lines on the Stradic, it likes everything.

P-Line CXX is too stiff for me. P-Line CX is VERY good.

Right now I'm using Yo-Zuri Ultra Soft #6 but have mixed feelings about it, it's soft, but does have memory and some spots in the line just feel rough... Maybe I got a bad batch, I will for sure buy 2-3 more 275yd packs of it to give it a fair shot. But for now P-Line CX and YZ Ultra Soft are my two most liked.

I put braid on my Stradic to start, and didn't like it. Then again, I don't like braid at all, so maybe braid is fine.

On those reels I use 8/1 power pro for drop shot and deep vertical fishing.

Well I put 30lb power pro an used a horny toad all day and it cast it a mile and not loop, knot, nest or anything. I dont know whether to attribute that to the line or the reel, But its a good combo

I agree Brokejaw. I like the Yo Zuri, but I'm not crazy about it yet. Some times I get wicked tangles as it goes out through the guides. I'm gonna order another spool just to be safe. So far the pros have outwieghed the cons tho.

I like Spiderwire Ultracast 15lb. on my Stradic. Never had a line handling problem! Power Pro in same weight has a bit more memory/stiffness and can loop off ocasionally. Fireline even a bit more than the PP. I think braid is great, esp. in the tinted weed filled water I fish.
