Interesting.  I thought this was going to be a lighter weight version of the STX but it isn't.  This is only a 6 bearing drive model vs the STX's 10.  

So I'm paying $60 (retail) more for 4 fewer bearings but 2.3oz lighter weight difference?

No, you are paying $250 for the only reel made thats tough enough to be a true swimbait reel that comes in a few 1/10's of an ounce heavier than a 50MG. Do you really want/need more than 6 bearings??? I only want 4 well placed bearings, butter is for toast.

Pick a brand- all the light reels are $$$.  The weight is the hardest thing to shed. Besides, it's about the price of a 50 MG.

Side note: I just dropped a couple in the cart and Cabela's shows it on backorder.
