Anyone know of a good article (with pics) for cleaning and maintaining a spinning reel with ball bearings?

I have my book on table top maintenance for baitcasters, but haven't had time to write one on spinning reels.

I would recommend that you get a copy of the schematic for the reel look it over and make the decision as to whether or not you want to jump into it. It's definitely not like opening up a baitcaster...

Shimano has some decent pics and instructions on there web site. Its more general maintenance though.

Actually that is a sales article for the product they use over there in OZ. It isn't really giving any cleanup instructions. The article from Shimano® that michbass posted is a better one. Either way if you have never opened a spinning reel up, don't without the schematic.
