Berkley Trilene Fluorocarbon

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried the new Trilene Fluorocarbon? Just wondering if Berkley came out with a quality fluorocarbon line to accomodate thier Trilene monos or if they changed the packaging and name of Vanish and raised the price?

I have been using this line for about a month now and out the Fluorocarbons I have tried, I am starting to like the best.  I have used it on both spinning and baitcasting reels and like other fluorcarbon lines, it is not the best for spinning reels.  It is sort of soft for a fluorocarbon, cast well and is extremely strong.  It is way better than Vanish and not quite as good as Gamma.  I would say it may be the best bang for the buck in Fluorocarbons but it is still expensive.
