Still on sale. Just got 2 myself.

Did you guys get the extra $10 off via the Garcia rebate?

A printable form is listed on the SC reel description page. You can get $10 off each Garcia reel, up to 2 per household, making the final price $69.95 + S/H!!

I sent in my rebate the same day my reel was delivered. When I sent in my rebate for my SX, it took about five weeks to get the check.

Yes, $69.95 is a great price for that reel.

I just bought two of them. They are basicly the Revo S but for Cabelas they made a special run of High Speed 7:1's and made them red. That is cool. I can't wait to get mine.

I hope you guys clicked on the our Cabelas banner two order them.

They have the magnetic brake, right?  I think they are basically red SXs, not Ss.   The S has a centrifugal brake I think.

Here's Tackle Tour's write up.

Cabelas Special Abu Garcia Revo SC: Cabelas has often turned to manufactures for exclusives on supertuned special reels. A good example of this is the premium Daiwa Millionaire Bar-Stock casting reel. This time Abu Garcia has created a special Revo just for Cabelas. Similar to the Abu Garcia Revo S model the SC features 8BB + 1RB and weighs in at 8.6oz. What is unique about this reel is it has a 7.1:1 burner retrieve, normally something you would have to step up to the $149.99 SX model. The Revo SC retails for only $129.99 and makes use of Abu's oversized duragear main gear, carbon matrix drag system, and an all aluminum frame and side cover. The reel stands out a bit more than the Abu reels due to the deep red finish and perforated spool with red highlights.

So your right about the break system. It has also been stepped up.

I wish they had it  in left-hand retrieve model

Sorry about that Vyron but take a look at their Daiwa Advantage Super Tuned. They have the Left handed ones on sale for 79.99. I have eight of these and I love them.

I just ordered two.  I used the above banner.

still on sale!, gotta add to cart and then go check out for the 50 dollars off!

so wassup with the 50 dollars off? perhaps a 2007 product dump for fall season?  Gotta get that shelf ready for 2008 new products you know?

also i don't see the SC for sale any other places but cabelas, anyone know why is that?

Supposedly the model is a Cabela's exclusive, but I heard it is also available in Japan.

According to the paper work any ABU Garcia Authorized Service Center can service them, to my knowledge only the color is different. i am not an expert, but this is what seems to me.

Perfect reels for fishing "traps", picked one up today at Cabela's.  Feels real nice, very smooth and solid.  This is my very first time I've stepped away from Team Daiwa or Shimano reels in 20 yrs and it feels "right".
