REVO flaw

Featured Replies

I am just wondering if I got a flawed revo stx. I cant cast it that far no matter what the settings and how hard I throw it. Also it has a little clicking noise when I reel. Should I get it exchanged.

I can chunk mine a good country mile. If there is a clicking noise I would have it checked out. These reels cast very easy. 8-)

Have you checked the spool tension knob?  It may be too tight or too loose.  If it's too loose, it will emit a noise.  If it's too tight, it will reduce your casting distance.

I just checked mine and there is no "clicking" noice at all.

If it's brand new, I'd take it back.  I don't have a lot of patience with new things that can be returned.
