anybody have or heard of the quantum inferno spinning reel?  they have a couple at my local dicks that have been marked down from $99 to $39.  Are they any good?

    Those reels are always on sale. I believe they are made by Quantum excusively for Dick's. I bought one of those Quantum Shaw Grigsby combos one time and the reel cramped out only after four or five outings. Personally I would stay away from it. For $20 more you can get a Pflueger President or a Shimano Sahara and have a much better reel.
