I just started using baitcastera a couple years ago.  I remember when I was looking around for what to buy, almost all of the baitcast reel were right handed. Just wondering if anyone knows why this is? I ended up buying a BPS Johnny Morris in left handed model and i love it. I feel like I have a lot more hook setting power with my right arm.  

Just because most people prefer the right handed one over left.

Good question!  My spinning reels are left hand retrieve and my baitcasters are all right hand.

I here ya.  Long ago in a time I will not mention, I could not find a quality LH baitcaster.  Now there are lots of them as the reel manufacturers finally got smart.

I'm sure you could. The thing I just learned is it's too hard for me to switch from lefty to righty during the same outing.
