pinnacle bait caster

Featured Replies

i saw a pinnacle baitcaster on sale at gander mountain for 49$. i cant remember exactly what model it was , but it had 9 bearings. looked nice. anyone tried one of these yet? i was thinking it would make a good flippilng reel.

I had a solene, I cant really compare it to much but it was a decent reel, Only problem with it was that the paint chipped off very easily on mine.

when i worked at gander mountain i remember alot of pinnacle's having problems. usually it was with the thumb bar not engaging unless you pressed really hard. i saw alot of unhappy customers who had bought pinnacle's this same problem happened with every model we had.

i would be one of those unhappy customers...

Have four 10 bearing Pinnacles. Been decent reels for the money with not problems other than noise. You can buy a Curado for a $100 bucks after rebate.
