Revo SX, removing anti reverse bearing

Featured Replies

I am trying to do an initial cleaning on my new Revo SX.  are there any tricks to getting the anti-reverse bearing out?  I pressed on it a little but am afraid to press too hard and crack the sideplate.

Haven't clean a Revo, but if like my Shimano's, I just take the top of a small screw driver handle and push it out from inside the cover.  It is tight, but just slides in and out.

You don't!!

Clean the one-way roller and re-lube it while in the side plate.

Now all you have to do is make sure that you lube it the right way... ;)

I don't think that I did because now it has a little slip to it if you put backwards pressure on it.I used reel butter grease on it.  I have a feeling that I over greased it.  Can you offer any advice on websites to do a little researching or give me any tips
