keeping jerk shad verticle on jig

We jig jerkshad hooked through nose  verticle on breaks  ,all the jigs we use when the 5in jerk shad is on jig the tail points down ,iam looking for a jig that when i hold the jig in the air the 5in jerk shad stays horizontal ,as most hits come when the jig is left for a second to sit after the jig motion,anybody done this and figured it out thanks

Are you talking about dropshotting?

If you put a weighted jighead on it won't stay horizontal, but if you rig it up like the article explains above it will remain horizontal.

Anyways, I could have read your question wrong so a little more insight on what you are actually doing would help with relevant answers.
