Stuff You Bought , recommended here, that you didn't like

Featured Replies

Ummmm.....I'm gonna have to say *** trick stix.

Not to say it's a bad lure, it has produced for me, just didn't meet my expectations like the GY senko did. One thing I dislike about them is that they don't fall as fast as GY senkos. I would compare them to Yum Dingers. Exactly like them, minus the salt. I HATE that d**n "hook canal" as I like to call it.

Next is those Zoom Horny Toads....they just dont produce for me, on top, or below the water's surface.

sufix seige   this line sucks!!!!  i bought it once and it was starting to fry while i was spooling my rod   wow    terrible and a waste of money  i threw the crap away

Hey I thought it would be interesting to see stuff you bought that others loved here that crapped out for you

2. St Croix Premiers: The single biggest purchase I made , based on what fellas told me here. Every other rod I used from this company were great, INCLUDING THE TRIUMPHS, were a more than pleasant experience, fine rod makers. I had 5 different Premiers go through my hands, 4 bought new and on I got from Senko77 ALL 5 threw out a guide insert ot tip. The fellas at Cabela's said this was a huge problem with these rods. What crap!!

4. Shimano Reels; These reels are great and well made, RW even sent one my way. I am so used to PFLUEGER REELS, and trust them so much , I stick with them. These Reels are well made , this is just a product confidence issue , either compamies product will be enjoyable and long lasting.

The Premiers use Batson Forecast® hard

aluminum-oxide guides. Their higher end rods have higher end Fuji guides.

As for the Flooger... no comment! :P

Well Ive got to say, I liked the cajun red cast on my zebco, I am a sufix man by choice. I have to say that I have not caught anything on any of these soft plastics everyone recomends, but I just havent fished much. I got a PFLUEGER Trion and I like it but the next reel I buy is gonna be Daiwa or Quantum and it will stay like that, Shimano is just overated, I mean they are good reel but I dont see the difference other than 200 bucks. Ha storm baits were not recomended it was my careless waste of 4bucks.

I like my overated shimano's just not much on the chronarchs. Good reels but didn't fell right.   Buy a Quanjunk and use it a while then you will see the overated.

Mine would have to be Cajun Red Line. Bought it, got it spooled up, thought about it, took it to the creek, looked at it in the water, went home ,took it off, and threw it in the trash.

Well thats really not a fair try. I put some on A spinning reel and some on a Bait Caster, and used them for about a month. Wasn't impressed, especially on the spinning reel, lot's of memory and coil. I used the same reel ( I have 2 Presidents) with Cabela's proline much more sucessfuly, which is the line I have been using for years. Cajun Red just didnt add up and cost twice as much :-[

more than likely you bought red lightening instead of red cast.red lightening stinks.

No DG , I can read, I may be a little dopey but I can read ;D I was billed for Cajun Red, I bought Cajun Red and the line just did not live up to what I expected, and the refund slip said Cajun Red. This is the Link to the Cajun Red Crap I bought and returned to CaBELA'S red cast

No Matter what guides they use, at that price it they were a huge disapointment, and for 99 bucks All Stars are SOOOOOOOOOO Much better, even the Fenwicks at that point blow them outta the water.

Overhyped: yo zuri hybrid ultrasoft. Underhyped: daiwa tdx, viento, sol, sufix braid, powell rod
