I sent the one in from my Curado 101D on Dec. 27th, and from my Citica 201D on Jan. 13th. Have not got either yet.

I'm sure they'll take somewhere between 6-8 weeks. Most rebates that I've submitted on various things usually take somewhere around that long to get.

Do ya'll know how long the rebates are gonna be around? I'm looking to get a new Citica, and I'd like to get it with the rebate. Just wondering how much time I have.............

Guys, if you're expecting a rebate pay attention to all your mail including junk mail. Most rebates are processd by contracted companies who specialize in mailing out rebates. I got one for a printer that was like a post card and looked like a piece of junk mail. It was on the way to the trash when I took a closer look. Just a heads up.

I sent mine in on December 12 and received my rebate check on January 31. It arrives plainly identified as coming from Shimano.

Mailed four in on Dec. 27 and have not received them yet. There was a six to eight weeks processing. 4 X 50 =$200 for crankbaits. ;D Christmas again in Feb.

Got mine today!  It was sent in a coule of days after Christmas.

Did anybody get rejected?

I havent heard yet but I'm suspecting I might.  I bought a Curado 100 and got 10% off from Bass Pro when they told me my rewards card was upped to a preferred rewards card.  Then I sent in the rebate thinking I was getting a heck of a deal.

My understanding is that a discount like that will not disqualify you.  Getting yours will confirm it though.  When did you send it in?

I read somewhere, tackletour, I think, that any discount will disqualify you, we'll see.  I sent it in around Jan 17th.

I would think this should apply to discounts also.  I found that quote from the Shmano Rep from Tackletour:

TT member: If I buy a curado from cabelas using a $20 off coupon does this still qualify for the rebate program?

Shimano Rep: Using the Cabela's coupon will be OK. The rebate is good for purchases through Shimano authorized dealers only. Reels purchased through Ebay or other non Shimano internet dealers will not be entitled to the rebate.

This seems to be a common misconception here.  The actual purchase price has nothing to do with the eligibility of receiving the rebate.  The only stipulation is that you purchase the reel from an authorized Shimano dealer.  If you get 10% off at BPS you're ok, but if you pay full price from Joe Schmoe on eBay you're not.
