dont know much about rods hence all the threads but is there a difference between casting rod and trigger rod...im thinking they are the same thing am i right?

Sometimes the casting rods don't come with a trigger. I HAVE TO HAVE MY TRIGGER!!! 8-)

I have always thought a trigger rod had the really short, one hand, thick handle. Here is an example of what i thought was a true trigger rod
