Does anyone use these?  Are they functional and comfortable, or are they just for looks?  Do they upset the weight balance of the rod?  Thanks.

I use tennis racket wraps on a few rods.  Can't even tell they are there.

I picked up three of those at the tackle shop a few weeks ago and put them on my spinning rods.  I really like them.

I like them. Especially on spinning rods to cover the threads on the reel seat.

Thanks, guys.  I saw them the other day and thought they looked kinda cool.  Do they make the handle feel a lot fatter?  

Wrapping the reel seat adjustment threads definitely sounds like a plus on spinning rods.  Do you wrap right over the exposed rod blank by the trigger on a bc rod or do you just work around it?
