BPS XPS fluorocarbon

Featured Replies

Does any one have any experience with this line? How is its strength? How is the memory? I have heard alot of mixed opinions about it. KVD swears by it but that could just be sponsor talk.

After trying several brands, the XPS is my choice in several pound test ratings from 6# to 20#. I see no reason to try any more brands.

Same here

Excellent line; it's made by Toray in Japan.  It is one of the top couple of fluoro's out there in terms of strength and abrasion resistance.  It is not quite as soft as the Trilene Pro-Grade, but is soft enough to cast effectively.  I'm going to buy quite a bit when BPS throws it on sale in the Spring Classic.

Agree...Just found out it's made by toray and was quite shocked.Explains why this line is really good.

I have used it for years and love it.  It goes on sale next weekend at Bass Pro Shops in Oklahoma City.  usually 33% off.

You can't beat the price and the line is great.  Highley recommended!

I tried it several years back and I loved it! Unfortunately, I decided to go with Berkley since it was readily available to me. I got my senses back and XPS Fluro is the only one I'll use. Oh, talked to Marty Stone and he swears by it too. (FYI, he doesn't have a line sponsor).
