Curado 200B (Greenie) Compared to REVOS & Citica

Featured Replies

I have 15-20 hours experience with the Curado 200B, but found that I would prefer a left hand model. Not intending to start a REVO vs Citica debate (we're not talking Carrot Stix :( ), I'm interested in seeing how these two reels compare to the Curado 200B on their respective merits. Thanks!

Well as luck would have it I have both a Citica 201D and a Revo S-L, and once owned a Curado 201B. I was one of the few who got a lemon Curado 201B, and I didn't own it for long. As for the Citica vs. Revo, flip a coin. I have fished one of my 2 Revo's, but the Citica is new this winter, so I would favor the Revo as of right now. I have practice cast with the Citica and it's impressive, so I really don't think you could do wrong either way.

Thanks, size-wise how do they feel? I'd rather not go up in size...  :(

Revo is smaller and lighter than Citica, old green Curado is smaller than Citica.

Thanks, that's what I thought about the size.  Cheers

The Curado B was the reel that started my love-affair with the Revo.   ;D

Citica 100DSV - 7.9 oz.

Revo S - 8.6 oz.

Thanks Burley, but I haven't been able to find a Citica 101DSV yet :) :) :)

If I had more coordination :-?, I'd just keep the 200B. However, with the $50 rebate the Curado 101D is looking more attainable :(

Of course my other option is to put my Stradic FH on a Cumara like the one you've been teasing us with.   :)

Not Shimano's fault you're wrong handed.  :(

My In-Laws are always telling me the same thing   :(

Of course to keep my gear consistent, I could just move the cranks on all of my spinning reels to the right hand side.  Then RH baitcasting would be no problem  ;D
