Who makes the lightest 5:1 reel? Whats its wieght?Are there anything outthere under 8oz.

There are quit a few under 8 oz.

Daiwa TD-Z 103P.  I believe it is either 5:1 or 5.2:1. I see them on ebay every once in a while.

X2  6.2 oz I believe.

The Daiwa Sol is 5.3 almost the same and the Zillion cracker although not light but great reel.

Don't hold me to this but I purchased a Revo Premier(6.2 oz) and I remember someone mentioning that if you call Abu Garcia that they might have either a gear swap or a way of getting you a Premier with the lower gear ratio.  I could be wrong but I thought this might be another option.
