A Couple weeks ago I learned and confirmed that Amazon is an authorized Fenwick dealer. They had Techna AVs in the $150 to $160 range. Tonight, I checked on a whim and they were in the $120 to $130 range. Sometimes Amazon has one day sales - wanted to pass along the info.

*** was willing to pricematch, but they only a few models. Needless to say, I'm pretty psyched waiting form my 7'0" MF Techna and Revo S-L. Great customer service from TWH. If my order comes without any hitches, they'll have another loyal customer.

Regardless of prlce, Techna AV's are some of my fvorite rods.  All my rods are older though, I've no experience with the newer ones.  

Robert, thanks for the validation.  Having read many of your posts, your comments help me to feel more certain about my choice.

I called it in.  Great customer service.  They checked the competing websites while I was on the phone.

They only had a couple model of the Techna AV, so I ended up moving from 6'6" to 7'0".  I like Amazon, but I feel better having a rod shipped from a tackle specialist.  They also price matched a Revo for me.  While Cabelas and BPS usually have prompt and friendly customer service, I felt my rep at TWH had more product knowledge.  Cheers
